The Senna Ligustrina Shrub is also known as the Privet Wild Sensitive Plant. Privet Senna is an evergreen perennial shrub that produces lots of 5 pelted yellow blooms. It's fruit is a thin bean pod that is about 5 inches long, which then turns a deep brown when ripe. Its flowers bloom from early autumn through late spring when the nights are longer. The flowers are typically bee pollinated, but Privet Senna is also the larval host plant for some butterflies. They require minimal maintenance once it reestablishes itself after the winter.
